Dormeshia Sumbry Edwards

 “After Midnight”
Our tap teacher Dorneshia Sumbry-Edwards has been with LoPresti Dance Theatre for the past 10 years. She has just recently become a principle dancer in the Broadway show, "After Midnight"

On Sunday, January 26th our students had front row seats to see her perform, and following the show are dancers will able to have a meet and greet with the entire cast of After Midnight.
We are so proud of our Dormeshia!

About the show:
The lights dim… The music simmers… And the theater gets ready to blast into the stratosphere— as a company of 42 heart-stopping vocalists, eye-blurring tappers, rule-breaking dancers and chart-topping Special Guest Star singers - led by Grammy®-winner k.d. lang, now thru March 9 - join forces with The Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars, a 17-piece band hand-selected by jazz legend Wynton Marsalis. It all happens at AFTER MIDNIGHT, the new Broadway phenomenon that catapults the greatest music of Duke Ellington and Harlem’s Golden Age into the 21st century. As the New York Post says, “Don’t, under any circumstances, miss it!”
